Get to know Chrissy

Christina McCartney is a family law attorney in Columbia, Missouri. Prior to opening her own practice, Christina was an associate at Simon Law Offices, PC from 2003-2008, and a social worker for the Missouri Department of Social Services from 1997-2000.

Christina graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a B.A. in history.  She received her J.D. from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2003 and was admitted to practice in the Missouri Bar that same year.

Ms. McCartney is a member of the Missouri Bar, Women Lawyers Association of Mid-Missouri, and the Boone County Bar Association (past Treasurer and Secretary). Ms. McCartney has provided contracted Guardian ad Litem services to the 13th Judicial Circuit since 2008.  She is the author of the chapter on tort liability and the family relationship in the Missouri Bar’s Family Law desk book.

Christina is originally from Edina, Missouri.  She resides in Columbia with her husband, who is also an attorney, and their children.
